  1. Start each day with Morning Affirmations. For example: “Today I choose to be Love with each person I come in contract with.” “Today, when I think I need anything, I know that it will be provided” (n.d) This will help you think positively and shift your thoughts when you have challenges throughout the days.   2. Take time to yourself. Even if it is just a small amount of time 10 to 20 minutes. Give yourself time each day to just relax and slow down. Many of us have family and friends visiting for the holiday which is wonderful; just remember to still take time to have a moment of peace. Breathe.
  3. Write down your thoughts. Writing down what you a grateful this is a great tool to help you become calm and happy.
  4. If you can’t do it all in one day, that’s ok. To avoid feeling overwhelmed schedule in advance all your task this holiday season, give yourself 2 or three goals a day then relax. Start early. For example: Nov 20- Take an inventor of groceries needed for holiday cooking. Make a list. Nov 22- start to purchases items needed. Etc. This way you want have to do it all the day before. Baby steps.
